Complaints Policy
The editorial office of the journal is committed to responding to all complaints in a timely and constructive manner. The editorial board and staff of the Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports will carefully consider each complaint based on its nature and complexity. The final decision will take into account the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Suggestions or complaints can be sent to the journal’s email address: info@uajmbs.com.ua. All submissions will be reviewed within thirty working days. However, depending on the complexity of the issue, additional time may be required to complete the review process.
A complaint must be clear, specific, and provide sufficient information to demonstrate potential violations of publication ethics. If possible, it is recommended to provide supporting documents to substantiate the claim.
Personal complaints about authors, editors, reviewers, or the editorial board will be responded to with an explanation as to why the complaint falls outside the journal’s jurisdiction. The journal will not conduct investigations if complaints are defamatory, threatening, or slanderous in nature.
Appeals
If a person disagrees with the decision made following the review of a complaint, they have the right to file an appeal. The appeal must be submitted to the editorial office no later than 15 working days after receiving the response to the complaint. The appeal should clearly outline the specific aspects with which the person disagrees and provide arguments to support their position.
The appeal will be reviewed by the editorial board of the journal within 30 working days. If necessary, the board may consult independent experts or specialists for additional analysis. The decision on the appeal is final and must be implemented.
